TatiFurs was born in Siatista, Western Macedonia — a small Greek town with a outsized reputation as one of the last great fur-making capitals in the world. Since 1972, our family has dedicated itself to a single pursuit: creating real fur coats, blankets, and accessories of exceptional quality that stand the test of time.
A Family Legacy Built on Craft
My father Stavros Chaitas laid the foundation of this business over 50 years ago, at a time when Siatista's streets were filled with master furriers passing their knowledge from hand to hand. I'm George Chaitas, and I grew up surrounded by that tradition — learning not just how to work with fur, but how to respect it. Every cut, every stitch, every finished piece carries that inheritance forward.
Today TatiFurs ships luxury real fur products worldwide, but our workshop and our values remain rooted in Siatista. We haven't outsourced. We haven't automated. Every real fur coat, every fox fur throw blanket, every mink jacket that leaves our hands has been made the same way it was made in 1972 — by people who know what they're doing.
